Program: PhD candidate in Medical Biophysics (Medical Physics and Imaging Stream)
Role: Seminar Coordinator
Research: Assessing the role of vascular remodeling on tissue recovery and blood flow following Traumatic Brain Injury in mice.
Why I am excited about mentorship: I am a senior (4th year) PhD student with a previously completed MSc at U of T. The scholarship application process is one with which I am experienced. I have spoken with and befriended many undergraduates, and am aware of their experiences, expectations, and disappointments. My experience in a range of application skills for grad school is solid, and I am excited to share my knowledge with those in a similar position as myself 6 years ago.
